【🎉 Celebrating 6 Years of HKGI: Advancing Genomic Medicine in Hong Kong 🎉】   Today, we proudly mark the 6th anniversary of HKGI — a milestone that reflects our shared commitment to advancing genomic medicine and improving health outcomes for the community.   Over the years, HKGI has made significant strides in building a strong foundation for precision medicine in Hong Kong.   🔬 Expanding the Hong Kong Genome Project (HKGP) We have successfully recruited over 60,000 participants across 12 public hospitals, accelerating the integration of genomics into clinical care and research. The HKGP has also achieved a diagnostic yield of 25% in identifying pathogenic variants for cases of undiagnosed disorders.  🤝 Nurturing Talent and Empowering the Community We have actively nurtured talent through targeted engagement initiatives for healthcare professionals, researchers, students and the public. These efforts have not only enhanced genomic literacy and clinical capabilities but also fostered greater community awareness and understanding of genomic medicine.   Our progress is made possible by the dedication of our partners, collaborators, and participants, who share our vision for the future of healthcare.   Looking ahead, HKGI will continue to integrate genomic medicine into clinical care, advance research, nurture talent, and strengthen public genomic literacy and industry partnerships — shaping a healthier future for Hong Kong and beyond, together.   💚 Thank you for being part of our journey.   {hashtag|\#|HKGI} {hashtag|\#|HKGP} {hashtag|\#|HongKongGenomeProject} {hashtag|\#|GenomicMedicine} {hashtag|\#|PrecisionMedicine} {hashtag|\#|HealthcareInnovation} {hashtag|\#|HKGIAnniversary}
